BiG Day Ins are Back!!

After one year of virtual events and one year of half-capacity events in Queensland, the ACS Foundation Big Day Ins were back to full strength in 2022.

Here are the stats:

BDI UQ on 21 April had over 400 students and 15 teachers attend. 11 exhibitors talked directly to students during breaks, answering questions and providing great information about careers in tech. The ICT GISP exhibit had 51 enthusiastic visitors. Other exhibitors included Gameloft, TAFE Queensland, Technology One, Videopro, LifeJourney (ASD CyberExp and Day of STEM), Tata Consultancy Services, Avanade Australia, BHP, Defence Force Recruiting, The Woolworths Group and The University of Queensland.

BDI Sunshine Coast, proudly sponsored by the Sunshine Coast Council, took place on 5 May and had over 200 students and 12 teachers attend. The local and state-based exhibitors used the break time to speak directly to students to promote careers in tech and provide advice on career pathways. The wonderful exhibtors included Videopro, RoboRave, Defence Force Recruiting, Life Journey, Avanade Austeralia, Technology One, University of the Sunshine Coast, and Helimods. The ICT GISP exhibit had 54 visitors.
